Tinubu Pays Surprise Visit To Osinbajo

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, paid a visit to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday.

Asiwaju had already paid a visit to the President at the Presidential Villa and then decided to pay a surprise visit to the Vice President. He was accompanied by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State.

Asiwaju was meeting with Senator Kabiru Gaya, former Defence Minister Major General Dan Ali (retd), and other allies when he arrived.

Tinubu was greeted by the VP along with his other visitors, and the two exchanged pleasantries.

Tinubu received 1,271 votes in the APC presidential primary, which began on Tuesday and ended on Wednesday, to secure the party’s presidential ticket.

Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State, Chairman of the Convention Election Management Committee, announced at Eagle Square in Abuja that Rotimi Amaechi, a former Minister of Transportation, received 316 votes; Osinbajo, 235 votes; Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, a former Minister of State for Education, one vote; Senator Rochas Okorocha, and Pastor Tunde Bakare, both zero votes.
