APC Presidential Primary: I Felt The Presence Of Allah Around Me As I Write Bola Tinubu On The Ballot Paper — Fatai Ibikunle

The Chairman of National Lottery Regulatory Commission NLRC, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle has congratulated former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his election as the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next year general elections.

Alhaji Ibikunle a chieftain of APC and leader of the progressives in Oyo State said, the election of Bola Tinubu as the flag bearer of APC marked the beginning of Nigeria’s renewed journey to peace, unity and prosperity that would eventually actualize a real and sustainable greatness for our dear country.

Ibikunle, in a statement, personally signed and released to the media in Ibadan, Thursday, said that he was particularly enthralled by the wise decision of the All Progressives Congress presenting the most effective and successful politician, administrator, nation builder and strategist in the country today, at a time Nigeria needed her best to take the country out of the woods.

The NLRC boss disclosed that the election of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was received with immensejoy across party lines all over the country with great expectations that his presidency would replicate the unprecedented growth, progress and stability he built in Lagos State.

“I am enthralled, very excited at the outcome of our presidential primary election. It is the best thing that has happened to our country in a long time now. Filling the name of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on the ballot paper, I felt the presence of Allah aroundme that this convention would bring solutions to all our lingering challenges.

“And after the announcement of the result, I became super convinced that APC and indeed Nigeria has got the best man for the job. The candidature and eventual presidency of Asiwajumark the beginning of Nigeria’s renewed journey to peace, unity and prosperity that will earn us realand sustainable greatness. It gladdens my heart and makes me to be extremely proud of my party, APC”.

On the general elections, Alhaji Ibikunle saidmembers of the All Progressives Congress have every cause to thank God that the party has democratically elected the best candidate any party could dream of, adding that with Tinubu, it has become real definite that all elections would be wonby APC without much stress.

He therefore urged party leaders, especially in Oyo State to do all within their powers and ensure that unity, peace and harmony prevail in the party. He advised the leaders to employ the doctrine of give and take in order to appease the aggrievedmembers and aspirants in the interest of the partyand the overall benefits of all.

“We all know that there is very little or no gain in party positions. We can only gain and achieve our political goals when our party is in power. So, I urge all of us, leaders and followers across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State, let us all makesacrifice now that we know that APC will win elections at all levels of government in 2023. If we win, as we are set to do, all of us will be adequately taken care of”, Alhaji Ibikunle assured.
