The Governor Of Zamfara Has Once Again Dissolved All LG Council Bosses
With effect from today, Friday 4th June 2021, the Governor of Zamfara State, Hon Dr. Bello Mohammed, has sanctioned the dissolution of the 14 Local Government Councils Sole Administrators in the state.
Abubakar Jafar Maradun, the permanent secretary of the state ministry of communication, made the announcement in a written statement.
“The dissolution of the Local Government Councils Sole Administrators followed the expiration of their six-month tenure elongation period as previously allowed by the Zamfara State House of Assembly, which expired on Friday, June 4th, 2021,” the statement adds.
“In view of this, the outgoing Local Government Councils Sole Administrators have been directed to hand over the Affairs of their Local Government Councils to their respective Directors of Administration and General Services with immediate effect.
“His Excellency, Governor Bello Matawalle thanked the outgoing local Government Councils Sole Administrators for their services to the State and wished them success in their future endeavors,” the statement added.
