Toni Conceicao, the coach of Cameroon, has issued a warning to Nigeria’s Super Eagles ahead of their international friendly on Friday night at the Stadion Wiener Neustadt in Austria.

Conceicao stated that the Indomitable Lions will play an ambitious game against Gernot Rohr’s side, adding that they will defend their chances of winning on the pitch.

“It is a game we want to win because to us, it is not just a friendly game,” Conceicao said at his pre-match press conference.

“You look at Nigeria and Cameroon as two rivals who share a common border as countries.

“Our approach will be to win even though we will try some players to see how they react.

The match between Nigeria and Cameroon will begin at 8:30 p.m. Nigerian time.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will play Cameroon in their third international match in 2021.

Their past two appearances have been in Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Nigeria triumphed against Cameroon in the 2019 AFCON Round of 16 match in Alexandria, Egypt.
