In Kano, Bandits Kidnap A Businessman

Unknown gunmen presumed to be bandits have reportedly entered Kore village in the Dambata local government area of Kano State and kidnapped a businessman in the area, only hours after Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje expressed alarm over an influx of bandits in Falgore forest.

The bandits reportedly stormed the area around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday night, shooting indiscriminately.

According to information from the region, the criminals, who numbered around six, attacked on three bikes.

DSP Abdullahi Haruna, a spokesman for the Kano State Police Command, confirmed the event and identified the kidnapped businessman as one Emmanue.
