RAMADAN: Drama As Ex-Rep Member Slumps, Dies After Prayer

Former Kogi State House of Representatives member, Hon. Mohammed Idris, has passed away.

Mohammed, son of former Kogi State Governor Ibrahim Idris, served as the representative for Ankpa, Olamaboro, and Omala Federal Constituency.

He tragically collapsed and died after participating in Eid prayers at his Abuja residence on Wednesday. He will be laid to rest in accordance with Islamic customs at Gudu cemetery in Abuja.

Muslims in Nigeria and around the world have been fasting and praying during the Ramadan season as they do every other year. Many people observe the fasting obligation strictly while others who are old, tender or people with some underlying health conditions are encouraged to do the much they can.
