PHOTOS: Top Yoruba monarchs breach COVID-19 protocols, abandon royal outfits at Elegushi’s birthday

Some top Yoruba monarchs have been caught on camera breaching COVID-19 protocols as they failed to wear their face masks during the birthday party of Oba Saheed Elegushi in Lagos.

Some of the monarchs seen in pictures where they failed to observe social distance and refused to wear nose masks are Oluwo of Iwo, Adewale Rasheed, Oniru of Ireland, Gbolahan Lawal, Alara of Ilara Epe, Olufolarin Ogunsanwo among others.

Aside the monarchs, most of the attendees of the party also followed the embarrassing steps of their leaders by breaching COVID-19 protocols.

The traditional leaders also ignored their royal outfits to attend the party. The venue of the party, Lagos is the epicentre of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.
