Fred scores second EPL goal as Man Utd beat Tottenham

Manchester United came from a goal down to beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 on Sunday in their Premier League clash in London.

It was Son Heung-Min who first scored, marking his third goals against Manchester United in the Premier League this season.

The London team kept their lead intact going for the half time break and they looked to extend it early in the second half.

By 57th,  Fred equalized to have his second Premier League goal since September 2018.

United scored scored another goal in the 79th minute as Cavani did a diving header off a cross from Mason Greenwood.

Greenwood later popped with the icing on the cake; scoring yet another goal for United deep into stoppage time.

With Sunday’s win, United stay in the second position with 63 points behind runaway leaders City but they have cut their lead to 11 with one game in hand.

As for Spurs, the chance of a top-four finish has further evaporated as they are currently in the seventh position with 49 points.

Mourinho’s men are six points adrift of the last Champions League spot.
