Nigeria, according to Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, is presently on life support.
On Wednesday, Wike spoke during the inauguration of the Isaiah Odoli/Omerelu Streets in New GRA Phase 1 in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area.
He claimed that individuals who voted for the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a superior alternative to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2015 must be disappointed with the country’s current position.
“You can clearly see what Nigeria has become since the APC took power. You hear people being slain every day when you wake up.
“If you turn on the television or read the newspaper, you’ll hear that so and so many people have been slaughtered or kidnapped in so and so state.
“I didn’t think that was what we all needed. The country is running out of oxygen (life support). Wike stated, “No one knows what will happen next.”
He also urged well-intentioned Nigerians to keep praying for the country.
