Ghanaian music sensation, Livingstone Etse Satekla, widely known as Stonebwoy, has disclosed his Nigerian heritage.

Making the revelation, he asserts that he has a connection to the ancient Oyo Kingdom.

In a recent conversation with popular influencer Ola of Lagos, Stonebwoy, hailing from the Ewe tribe in Ghana, revealed, “Me sef nah Naija, no lies. Me nah Ewe from Oyo Kingdom, my tribe migrated from Nigeria to Ghana here, na we get Illesha. Shout-out to my people in the southern part of Nigeria. Check Ewe, we root straight to Yoruba.”

This revelation underscores Stonebwoy’s claim that his ancestors hailed from Nigeria, specifically tracing his tribe’s origins to the Yoruba community in Ilesha, Osun State.
