Enough Is Enough -VP Shettima Declares, Reveals Tinubu’s Next Plan In South East

Vice President Kashim Shettima has revealed the next plan of President Bola Tinubu in the South East region of Nigeria.

Speaking in a statement, Shettima highlighted President Tinubu’s commitment to ending the security challenges in the South East. He described those behind the security threats as self-serving criminals exploiting the situation for their political agenda.

Speaking at the unveiling of the Peace in South East Project (PISE-P) in Bende, Abia State, Shettima emphasized Tinubu’s concern for the economic devastation caused by non-state actors in the region.

Shettima stated, “He is acutely aware that our commitment to Nigeria’s future remains incomplete as long as we grapple with the sinister operations of economic saboteurs who masquerade as advocates for the Ndi-Igbo.”

He further noted that the criminal activities in the South East do not represent the interests of the Ndi-Igbo or the entire country. Shettima emphasized the need for a coordinated intervention involving the people to address the security challenges.

“Today, we stand united to firmly declare: enough is enough,” said VP Shettima, assuring the South East that the Tinubu administration would not rest until it fulfills its pledge to mitigate the inherited crisis.
