Fans Praise Burna Boy For A Successful Concert At O2 Arena, London

On Friday night, Grammy Award-winning performer Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, performed a spectacular concert at London’s O2 Arena.

The concert, which was part of Burna Boy’s Twice as Tall tour, included spectacular performances by the host as well as other up-and-coming Nigerian singers such as Omah Lay, Rema, and Ruger.

Ruger wrote, “My first performance in London was at the O2,” thanking Burna Boy for the opportunity. You are so good, my God, that I will praise you for the rest of my life. @burnaboy, may God bless you.”

“I swear watching Rema and Omah lay tonight made me so emotional,” Burna Boy tweeted in response to their performances. I’m extremely proud of those young men.”

Burna Boy’s entrance and leave aboard a gigantic spaceship, which really got people buzzing, was a highlight of the night.

Fans praised the Odogwu crooner on Twitter, using the hashtag #BurnaboyO2 to congratulate him on a fantastic show.

“Burna Boy did it, sold out, had a great show!” said a fan, @olafweshy. That is all there is to it. “Share the joy.”

“Expensive tickets, no live streaming, and he still did it,” another fan, @almightydiggy wrote.

@burnadon1 recognized Burna Boy’s accomplishments at the event, saying, “Burna Boy took Afrobeat to the O2… He arrived in the O2 in a spaceship and departed in a spaceship. Outside are tens of thousands of strangers. Burna sings like he’s never sung before, one of his best performances I’ve ever seen. I’m forbidding everything that makes me feel like an outsider from now on.”
