Divorce: Singer Paul Okoye’s Wife, Anita, Demands N7.8m Monthly Spousal Support
Anita Okoye, Paul Okoye’s (Rudeboy) estranged wife, has demanded that he pay her $15,000 (N7.8 million) per month in spousal assistance.
This is part of the demands she made in the petition she filed before an Abuja High Court.
“Payment of a monthly maintenance sum of $15,000.00 (N7.8m) for the general welfare, education and health of the three children of the union who are presently in schools in the United States of America until they are of age,” part of the document read.
Anita’s divorce petition was leaked on the internet after she filed it at the Federal High Court in Abuja. She reportedly warned her now estranged spouse in the legal paperwork to oppose the petition if he was dissatisfied, according to PulseNG.
Anita ignited divorce rumors in April when it was revealed that she had moved to the United States with their three children. Anita and Paul, who met at university and fell in love, wedded in a lavish wedding ceremony in Port Harcourt in 2014.
