BREAKING: Buhari reappoints Adeyeye NAFDAC Director-General

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control’s Director-General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, has been reappointed by President Muhammadu Buhari (NAFDAC).

Sayo Akintola, NAFDAC’s resident media consultant, informed The Nation that her reappointment would take effect on December 1st, 2022.

In November 2017, Prof. Adeyeye was first appointed Director-General.

Her employment came to an end on November 3, 2022.

In the interim, Dr. Monica Eimunjeze was named acting director-general by the federal government.
