BREAKING: Wike, G-5 Governors Return To Nigeria, Speak On PDP Chairmanship Position
Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has stressed that the South should hold the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national leadership position.
Iyorchia Ayu, a native of Benue State in the nation’s North Central geopolitical zone, is said to be the PDP’s current national chairman, according to News Direct.
But on Friday, Wike insisted that a Southerner must fill Ayu’s role during the commissioning of a project in his state.
Following their journey to London, Wike and the other displeased governors of the G-5 group, sometimes known as the G-5, returned in Port Harcourt on Friday.
