BREAKING: Atiku Ready To Contest For President In 2027 – Close Ally Reveals
Indication has emerged that former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, would contest for President in 2027.
Daniel Bwala, a spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 Presidential Campaign Organisation, disclosed that Atiku will be contesting again in the 2027 elections.
In an interview on Channels TV, Bwala expressed confidence in Atiku’s capabilities, stating, “Sure, he would run. He has the capacity, he has the wisdom, he has the knowledge, he has the energy.”
Highlighting Atiku’s understanding of the private sector, Bwala emphasized, “And he is a president we never had. Because to be honest with you, if any politician understands the private sector very well, it is Atiku Abubakar, and our economy can only come alive if there is a private sector-led economy.”
Bwala concluded by underscoring Atiku’s experience and capacity, stating, “He’s the president the country is missing because of his experience and capacity.”
Atiku Abubakar has had six unsuccessful attempts at the presidency, spanning from 1993, 2007, 2011, 2015, 2019, to 2023. Notably, during the last presidential election, some PDP chieftains reportedly worked against Atiku.
