‘We’ve Married Off Your Daughters’ – Abductors Of Kebbi School Girls To Parents

Bandits who kidnapped some schoolgirls from the Federal Girls’ College in Yawuri, Kebbi State, have informed their parents that their daughters have been married off.

The abductors sent them footage proving their daughters were already married, according to some of the parents who raised the alarm on Sunday.

Recall that on June 16, bandits broke into the school and abducted a large number of pupils to an unknown location. During the event, a police officer was also slain.

DAILY POST’s attempts to contact the school administration for confirmation of the occurrence were unsuccessful as of press time.

Meanwhile, one of the parents who talked with BBC Hausa stated that the kidnappers always let them know that their girls are fine.

He added that “sometimes they call and give us our daughters to talk to us. If your child has your number then they will call and talk to you.

“But I have never spoken with my daughter since the time they were abducted”.
