Tight Security As President Buhari Arrives In Lagos
President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has arrived in Lagos for a one-day working visit.
Buhari and his entourage arrived at the Murtala Muhammed Airport’s Presidential Wing at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, amid tight security.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and some members of the Lagos State Executive Council greeted the president as he landed aboard a Nigerian Air Force Boeing aircraft with the registration number 5N-FGT.
He next took a chopper to Lekki, where he will commission the multibillion-dollar Dangote Fertilizer Plant.
President Buhari is also expected to inspect the Dangote Refinery and the Lekki Deep Sea Port, which are also under development.
