“TB Joshua Isn’t Dead, He Will Rise Again” — Church Members Insist

Members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), led by Prophet T.B Joshua, a televangelist, have claimed that their spiritual father is not dead, but simply asleep.

Members who had been denied admission to the church requested that the doors be opened so that they could go inside and raise him themselves.

Members who debunked rumors of the Prophet’s death were met with incredulity, according to SaharaReporters.

He hasn’t died, they say; he’s only taking a slumber for spiritual empowerment.

“Open this gate for us, let us go in and convince him that we’re waiting for him,” one member told SaharaReporters. TB Joshua cannot die like that, not even in the next 10 to 20 years. He’s simply in a coma and talking with God in the afterlife.”

Another member said that the deceased prophet was simply sleeping, despite the fact that he believed the prophet was still alive.

“We’re making preparations for his birthday, which is on Saturday. How could he die in such a manner? When he is unable to attend, how will we commemorate his birthday? Papa is simply taking a nap; we’ve only given him seven days; you’ll be surprised. He shall resurrect.”

“It’s a hoax!” says the narrator. And it will always be that way. Papa is not going to die. It’s a devilish falsehood from the depths of hell. Please don’t believe what you’re hearing. My faith has never let me down. God’s spirit in me hasn’t told me he’s died because he can’t. Another declared, “He shall rise again.”

Some churchgoers, on the other hand, believe he died because he foresaw his death in his sermon on Saturday.

According to some church members, Joshua refused to touch any church members during Saturday’s speech, which is contrary to his typical habit, and had predicted severe rain on Sunday, which he might not see.

“I know our Papa is in heaven,” one of them stated. He was well aware of what was about to happen to him. He gave us the signal yesterday, but we weren’t paying attention; he said he wasn’t going to lay hands on any of us and handed the microphone to someone who inquired if he understood why he wasn’t going to lay hands (on people). Papa grinned when that person said no. ‘You will soon understand,’ he added.

“Papa warned us that there would be a lot of rain today and that he might not be able to see it, but we didn’t listen to him. He requested that we continue to pray. We had no idea why we were there. He is a saint who has gone to heaven to be with God. He promised he’d come to see us in our dreams, and I’ve seen him twice now. His body may be dead, but his spirit lives on. That is something I am fully aware of.”

Joshua had also visited an elderly woman, though in a trance, she claimed.

The woman claimed she felt movement at her home at 3 p.m. on Saturday and checked everywhere but found no one. She stated she noticed some naira notes in her bible on Sunday morning, indicating that she had been visited.

“I am one of the widows who TB Joshua assists, despite the fact that I am not a member of this church,” she explained. I didn’t come here yesterday, but at 3 p.m. on Saturday, I noticed a man walk past me in my room, and I assumed it was my neighbor’s shadow. But no, my neighbor was not present, and I was not concerned once more, until this morning, when I noticed N1,050 in my Bible. I didn’t pay attention, either; it’s not my money, and no one else in the home can put it there. I was just grateful to God because I knew it was divine provision, but as I was cleaning as an usher at my church today, I got a call, and I had to leave to rush down here. My ally is no longer with me, but his spirit will never leave me.”

Others in the vicinity of the woman corroborated that the prophet had indicated he would come to see them.

One of them stated that she was fortunate to be visited and that she would never go hungry again until she died.

Someone told the elderly woman who said she found money in her bible, “He will never forsake you.” “Since you are one of his widows, you will never go hungry; please preserve the money you saw in the Bible, don’t waste it.”
