Sack Abba Kyari Now – Deji Adeyanju, Calls On Interpol To Arrest Him Over Hushpuppi’s Fraud Case
Deji Adeyanju, a popular activist and the convener of Concerned Nigerians, has demanded that DCP Abba Kyari be arrested immediately.
Adeyanju’s comments come after it was revealed that Kyari has ties to Ramon Olorunwa Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi, a disgraced fraudster. Hushpuppi allegedly bribed the top cop in Nigeria to arrest an associate, according to court records unsealed on Thursday morning.
Kyari has also been ordered to be arrested by the FBI by a US court. On Twitter, Adeyanju wrote:
“Sack Abba Kyari now.”
“The Interpol should arrest Abba Kyari if he ever goes to Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Europe , etc and hand him over to the FBI.”
Kyari has subsequently responded to the report, claiming that he has no commercial dealings with Hushpuppi and that he was just responding to the fraudster’s accusation that someone was threatening to kill his (hushpuppi) family in Nigeria over a deal gone wrong.
He claimed that all he did was assist hushpuppi in obtaining local clothes, which cost N300,000, and that the money was paid directly to the tailor’s account.
