Osimhen’s Return On Monday Confirmed

Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles striker, is fit and ready to return to Serie A action when Napoli hosts Bologna at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium on Monday evening.

Osimhen will be playing for the first time in two months.

For the first time since fracturing his left cheekbone and orbit in a 3-2 league loss to Inter Milan in November, the 23-year-old has been included in the travelling squad.

Following the incident, Osimhen underwent surgery and was sidelined for three months.

However, after only two weeks of solo training, the Nigerian returned to team training early this month.

His return comes at a crucial time for Napoli, whose title prospects have dwindled in recent weeks.

The Neapolitans are now seven points behind the leaders’ Inter Milan.
