The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 637 COVID-19 cases across 18 states and the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja.
On Thursday morning, the NCDC announced on its verified Facebook page that seven patients had died as a result of the virus’s complications.
Since the onset in 2020, Nigeria has registered 188,880 cases of the disease.
A total of 169, 382 patients have been treated and discharged satisfactorily.
However, a total of 2, 288 deaths have been reported across Nigeria, with Lagos State remaining the virus’s epicenter.
