Metro TV And Stratcomm Africa Sign Partnership Agreement

Metro TV, Ghana’s first private television station, and Strategic Communications Africa, Ghana’s premier Communication Agency, and the initiator and organizer of the Garden and Flower Show and Movement, have entered into a strategic partnership in respect of the Ghana Garden and Flower Show and Movement.

In an agreement signed at the 2021 Ghana Garden and Flower Show recently held at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra, the parties recognize the value of communications for catalysing national and international development and express their mutual desire to collaborate to this end.

Highlighting the developmental objectives being advanced through the Show and the Movement is a fundamental commitment of both parties.

The agreement anticipates the companies pooling their joint resources for projects designed to deliver on the goal and objectives of the Ghana Garden and Flower Movement, including contributing to the realization of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Ghana and eventually across Africa.

The Managing Director, Mr Kayode Akintemi signed for Metro TV, and Esther A. N. Cobbah, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, signed for Stratcomm Africa.

“The media have been consistently supporting us in promoting the Ghana Garden and Flower Show and other activities of the Ghana Garden and Flower Movement. A strategic partnership, such as what we just signed with Metro TV, will enable us intensify the public education and mobilization effort so as to ensure the national development we have set our minds on. Floriculture and horticulture have huge potential for Ghana, especially for the youth and women, who are the focus of the 2021 Ghana Garden and Flower Show. Let us all join hands to realize the potential”, says Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah, Chief Executive of Stratcomm Africa.

According to Mr. Kayode Akintemi, Managing Director of Metro TV, “We at Metro TV are pleased to be entering into this agreement that expresses our commitment not only to conserving and enhancing the environment but also to providing jobs and worthwhile livelihoods for millions of Ghanaians and eventually young African across the continent.

Good news also needs to go viral! The Ghana Garden and Flower Movement and its flagship annual Show should gain the attention of the youth who are eagerly looking for avenues to deploy their talents. This partnership with Stratcomm Africa is also timely for us as we are in a process of leading the media pack in Ghana on driving developmental agenda.”
