Lady Arrested For Killing Her “Sugar Daddy,” Absconding With His N7million, Benz
A Nigerian lady simply identified as Laureta, is accused of murdering her businessman lover in Akwa Ibom and fleeing with his N7 million and Mercedes Benz car.
According to reports, Ms Laureta paid the deceased a visit on August 1 at his home, where she allegedly killed him and fled with his things, leaving the guy, Chukwemeka, in a pool of his own blood.
After being unable to contact the deceased for several hours, business associates raised the alarm.
The associates then notified the authorities.
The suspect was captured by the police on August 4 at a hotel where she was “cooling off,” thanks to a monitoring device set in the deceased car she drove away.
Ms. Laureta is currently being held at the state police CID, where she will be interrogated extensively.
This comes only weeks after a University of Lagos undergraduate, Chidimma Ojukwu, was paraded in the media for reportedly stabbing her male helper to death at an apartment in Lagos and fleeing with his money while claiming physical abuse.
However, as of Thursday night, no response had been received.
Ms Laureta’s motivation for her actions is yet unknown.
