Jigawa at 30: Gov. Badaru Declares Friday Work-free Day

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the state’s formation, the Jigawa State Government has proclaimed Friday, August 27, 2021, as a holiday.

This was contained in a statement released to DAILY POST by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila.

According to the announcement, Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar congratulated the Civil Servants and the general population on the State’s thirty-year anniversary.

He also encouraged people to pray for the state and the country as a whole as they celebrated the day.

Badaru also urged all public servants and the entire population of the state to take advantage of the one-day break to thank Almighty Allah for the pleasant climate, peaceful coexistence, and many development initiatives that have been documented in the state thus far.
