Civil Servant Kills Wife, Self Over Marital Issues In Bayelsa

After killing his wife, a middle-aged man identified as Mr. Patrick Markson allegedly committed suicide.

On Thursday morning, the event occurred at the couple’s Yenagoa home.

Markson, a public officer with the Yenagoa Local Government Area council, is said to have smashed his wife’s head with a sledgehammer while she was sleeping and then watched her bleed to death.
