Imo Governor Seals Okorocha’s College, Reclaims IBC Quarter

Former governor Rochas Okorocha’s Foundation college has been closed by the Imo state government for converting the lands of the Imo Broadcasting Corporation’s staff quarters to his institution.

Imo government officers were observed blocking off the region, which is located in Orji in the state’s Owerri North local government area.

One of the agents, who requested anonymity, informed Vanguard that it was one of the government’s properties that the court had ordered the former governor to reclaim. They also claimed it was included in the white paper’s recommendations for the state’s stolen property recovery.

Reports reveal that the government officials arrived early hours of Tuesday, at the Rochas foundation college location, marked the building with the inscription “Keep off by Imo state government.”

He said: “We have recovered the Imo Broadcasting Corporation, IBC, which the former governor, Okorocha, took over and converted it to his Rochas Foundation College. What you are seeing now is covering 48 hectares of land and if you look at very well most of the.
