I’m a man of peace and unity. Elder Yemi Akinwonmi (JP)

The Ag National Chairman of PDP Elder Yemi Akinwonmi (JP) has emphasized that he’s a man of unity and peace. In a statement released by his New Media Aide Ogayemi Olamigoke. If you were at the press conference you would hear when he said he’s after the unity of PDP and would do everything within his power to maintain peace pending the National Convention. The PDP is well know to have efficiently managed internal crisis within the party, this is just another crisis that has confronted the party and we would use our internal mechanism to manage this as well.
Let it be on record that there is no faction what so ever within the PDP Nat Working Committee as we all remain United as one in providing the right leadership for the party.
The Ag National Chairman has duly followed the constitution of the PDP ::CHAPTER VI-
RESIGNATION OR REMOVAL OF NATIONAL OFFICERS Section45(2) In the case of the National Chairman, he shall hand over to the Deputy National chairman who shall, without prejudice to Section 45 (6) of this Constitution, act as the National Chairman pending the election of a replacement::::constitutionally by hierarchy the Deputy National Chairman South Elder Akinwonmi should assume office in Acting Capacity….and that is what has happened today following the court pronouncement from Rivers State High Court in Portharcourt.;this was also reemphasized by the National Secretary in his statement during the Press conference.
For those that are bothered about the health of the Ag Nat Chairman, he’s hail and active and as we can see he during the press briefing he’s in the right state of mind to perform his duties as Acting Chairman of our great party … Ogayemi stated.
