HRH. Da Gyang Balak Gut, the Da Gwom Rwei of Vwang District in Plateau State’s Jos-South Local Government Area, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
The monarch was reportedly kidnapped on Sunday night, just a few meters from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies’ Kuru gate in Jos.
The tragedy occurs just a few weeks after another traditional ruler, Charles Mato, the Sum Pyem and paramount monarch of Gindri, was kidnapped in Plateau State’s Mangu Local Government Area.
