BREAKING: Scores Reported Dead In Kebbi As Bandits Attack, Burn Corpses

Hundreds of people are said to have been slaughtered in a nighttime raid by bandits in Kebbi State, according to SaharaReporters.

According to reports, bandits in huge numbers attacked Dan-Kade community in the Zuru chiefdom’s Unashi area on Sunday night, killing an unidentified number of people.

Bello Dankade, a resident of the hamlet, informed SaharaReporters that groups of bandits raided Dan-Kade in southern Kebbi State and slaughtered a large number of people.

“Many people were killed and their bodies were burned,” he said. “We can’t say how many people died right now.” “We’re left wondering why terror-related fatalities appear to be on the upswing, especially in the North-West,” Dankade bemoaned.

Residents of Dan-Kade village have left their homes after bandits allegedly set fire to a number of homes in the vicinity.

Mani John, the commander of a local Vigilante organization in Zuru, confirmed the attacks to SaharaReporters as well.
