Gov Yahaya Bello Reveals Those Who Killed Sowore’s Brother, Olajide

Olajide Sowore was slain, according to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.

However, Bello stated that these criminals must be arrested and brought to justice.

Olajide, the younger brother of former Presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, was assassinated in Okada, Edo State, on Saturday.

The governor reacted by condemning the killing of Sowore’s brother, calling it as a “painful death.”

According to NAN, Bello’s response was contained in a sympathy message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Muhammed Onogwu.

The governor said “evil men carrying out such an act of cowardice on a harmless citizen, must be brought to book.”

He added that no life should be lost in such a barbaric manner.

Bello noted that the 50-year-old Olajide Sowore, a student of Pharmacy at the Igbinedion University, Okada, was making such remarkable feats at that age, hence served as an inspiration and example of a determined individual.
