‘God Should Kill Me And Bring TB Joshua Back To Life’ — Church Member Cries Out

On Sunday, members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations gathered to mourn the death of their General Overseer, Temitope Joshua. Tears flowed freely.

After an evening service, the pastor died on Saturday, June 5, 2021. He was 57 years old at the time.

Although the cause of his death was not immediately revealed, insiders told SaharaReporters that he had been sick for two days.

His body is thought to have been deposited in the Lagos General Hospital in Isolo.

When SaharaReporters went to the church in Lagos’ Ikotun-Egbe neighborhood, they saw sympathizers and followers of the prophet crying.

They also paid their respects to the departed clergyman.

“He told us to hope that we don’t run out of time. Who will come to our aid? Who will come to the widows’ aid? Who will assist the widows now that TB Joshua has left? “God, kill me instead of you killing TB Joshua, make me die so TB Joshua can come back to life (let me die instead of TB Joshua),” an elderly woman cried, yelling Joshua’s name and recounting his good actions.

“Nobody believed we’d lose an angel like this in the next 20 years,” another woman added. We didn’t expect this in the midst of all the prophets, and it hurts us. He is the sole provider of food in this entire neighborhood. Our hope, our joy, has vanished. It’s excruciating.”

“He was a good man, we’ll go there, he’ll feed us and still pray for us,” a man said. This is difficult to believe. Nigerians will now recognize that we have a true man of God. Nigerians did not believe in him, but he prayed for the country every day. God has taken his own, and he has been taken by God.”
