Fresh FM Reveal Cause Of David Ajiboye’s Death

Fresh FM’s management has revealed the cause of Mr. David Ajiboye’s death.

Ajiboye died on Sunday in Ibadan, according to NEWS DIRECT.

He was the station manager of Fresh FM in Ado Ekiti until his death.

According to our source, the station is owned by gospel performer Yinka Ayefele.

However, the station’s administration has revealed the cause of his death.

Ajiboye died as a result of COVID-19 problems, according to the station.

This was stated in a statement signed on behalf of the management by Samson Akindele.

The virology department at the University Teaching Hospital (UCH) Ibadan determined the cause of death, according to Akindele’s statement released on Thursday.

He went on to say that the funeral would be done according to Covid-19 guidelines.

While speaking, Akindele stated that the burial would take place quickly, with no ceremony or gathering.

According to him, the Covid-19 Taskforce would handle the interment as a private matter.

Members of the public were asked to understand his situation.

Akindele said, “Sequel to the public notice we made on Monday August 9, 2021 to announce the sudden death of our Station Manager at Fresh 106.9 FM, Adó – Èkìtì, Mr. David Ajíbóyè, we hereby notify the general public that our man has been confirmed to have died from Covid-19 complications.

“The real cause of the death has been made known by the Virology Department, University of Ibadan (UI), in the University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.

“His body samples were sent by the private hospital in Ibadan where David breathed his last and the outcome of the result confirmed that he was COVID-19 positive.

“In obedience to Nigeria’s Covid-19 protocols, the burial of our departed colleague would be done immediately without any ceremony or gathering. Therefore, the interment would be handled by the Covid-19 Taskforce as a private affair.

“We ask for understanding from members of the public at this traumatic period as we mourn the passing of our friend and colleague.”
