Four Suspected Killers Of Haiti President Killed, 2 Arrested
Four suspected assassins of Haitian President Jovenel Mose, according to Haitian police, have been slain.
The suspects were killed in a shootout with security officers, according to the police.
According to the BBC, two more suspects have been apprehended, and officers in the nation’s capital, Port-au-Prince, are still fighting with some of the remaining suspects.
“They will be killed or captured,” stated Police Chief Leon Charles, according to reports.
Unknown gunmen assassinated Haitian President Jovenel Moise at his private residence on Tuesday, according to News Direct.
Moise was fatally wounded by the unidentified men, according to a statement by the country’s temporary prime minister, Claude Joseph.
His wife, who was also injured in the attack, was transported to Florida for treatment and is said to be in a stable but serious condition.
