Ebiloma Debunks Rumors Of Chief Metuh‘s Court Appearance On Stretcher

Ebiloma Abdullahi has debunked the rumor of Chief Olisa Metuh appearing in court on a stretcher two days ago.

In a signed letter, he wrote, “It has recently come to our notice that certain persons have been posting images of Chief Olisa Metuh’s alleged appearance in court on a stretcher two days ago.

“We are indeed shocked by the level at which some persons will resort to fabricating and disseminating fake news and outright lies to the public just to smear the image of others.

“For the avoidance of doubt we wish to state the following:

“1. Chief Metuh has not had any court appearance in the last 2 years since the Court of Appeal on December 16, 2020 quashed the outcome of his bias trial and unjust incarceration by Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

“2. Chief Metuh has had several corrective medical procedures after his release from the unjust incarceration and has been blessed with good health from then.

“3. The post claiming that Chief Metuh was in Court two days ago in a stretcher is outrightly false and only intended to cause public odium towards Chief Metuh.

”4. Our lawyers have been directed to report these miscreants to the appropriate authorities for appropriate action with regard to bringing them to justice in accordance with the laws of the land.

“We ask the public to disregard such mischievous publications which certainly has to do with the current political season.”
