Popular Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has finally broken his silence following the death of fellow actor, Obumneme Odonwodo aka Junior Pope.
Zubby Michael responded to criticisms about his apparent lack of public mourning of his colleague who many know as his ‘best friend’.
Amidst expectations for him to publicly express grief like other industry peers, Zubby addressed the issue on Instagram.
In a video shared on his account, showing him spending time with friends, Zubby stated that posting on social media is not a proof of genuine love.
He captioned the post: “Make una rest no be by posting.”
Recall that the sudden death of Junior Pope alongside some other colleagues had dominated headlines amid widespread outcry. Many Nollywood actors and actresses lamented his loss and send out various condolence messages to pour out their hearts but Zubby Michael was missing in action which prompted the criticisms against him.
