BREAKING: Senate Approves Buhari’s $16bn, €1bn Loans Request

The Senate approved $16,230,077,718, €1,020,000,000, and a $125,000,000 grant as foreign loans for the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.regime )’s to support legacy projects on Wednesday.

The red chamber expressly approved the Bank of Industries issuing €500,000,000 in bonds and the International Capital Market issuing €750,000,000 in Eurobonds.

It requested that the President send the National Assembly the terms and conditions of the loan from the financial agencies.

Following review of the report of the Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts, chaired by Senator Clifford Ordia, the Senate gave its approval.
