BREAKING: Police Provide Update On Kidnap Of Ameerah, Others In Abuja

The Police Command of the Federal Capital Territory has stated that it is working to free Ameerah Sufyan and other abductees.

She issued a warning via her Twitter account, @ameerah_sufyan, on Tuesday.

The individual reported that she and 16 other people had been seized at gunpoint by armed officers.

Three pregnant women and two infants, according to Ameerah, were kidnapped from various sections of Abuja.

Nigerians demanded their urgent rescue after learning of the situation through her tweet and the location she shared.

The FCT command released an update on the situation on Wednesday afternoon.

“The investigative & tactical apparatus on the case remains as discoveries are looking promising.

“Contact is maintained with her family to speed up investigation”, it reads.
