BREAKING: Gunmen Kidnap DPO In Nasarawa, Demand N5m

The Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Nasarawa Eggon Local Government in Nasarawa State, CSP Haruna Abdulmalik, has been kidnapped by gunmen.

According to information obtained by DAILY POST, the DPO was abducted on Thursday while on patrol at Nasarawa Eggon – Akwanga Road.

According to reports, the kidnappers had gotten in touch with the victim’s relatives and demanded a N5 million ransom.

As of press time, attempts by DAILY POST to contact Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Asp Ramhan Nansel had failed.

Benjamin Kuze, the deputy chairman of the local government area, told Vanguard that the incident did indeed occur.
