BREAKING : G5 Govs, Other Top PDP Leaders Storm Enugu

The aggrieved (G5) governors in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have arrived in Enugu.

News Direct gathered that some of the governors alongside the deputy national chairman of the PDP, Taofeek Arapaja, Vice Chairman South-South, Dan Orbih, among others, arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, on Thursday afternoon.

According to a source, the governors are expected to take a final decision on their choice presidential candidate ahead of the next month election as well flag off the Enugu State PDP campaign which will take place on Friday.

As at the time of filing this story, it was however, not clear if Governor Ikpeazu will attend the Enugu G5 govs meeting following the death of Abia PDP gubernatorial candidate, Uche Ikonne.

The G5 governors include Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Samuel Ortom of Benue, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
