BREAKING: FBI Set To Release Reports That Will Expose Tinubu – Atiku’s Camp

Atiku Abubakar’s Special Assistant on Public Communication, Phrank Shaibu, has alleged that the Bola Tinubu administration plans to silence the media in anticipation of the release of investigations conducted by the United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Shaibu stated in a Sunday press release that Tinubu’s administration, frustrated by the Chicago State University scandal, is gearing up for a significant offensive.

He criticized the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), claiming it displayed bias by threatening to penalize Arise News Television, while staying silent as media outlets like Television Continental (TVC), linked to the Nigerian president, consistently attacked Atiku. He accused NBC’s head, Balarabe Ilelah, of aligning with the ruling party, suggesting a plot to suppress the media concerning Tinubu’s certificate scandal. Shaibu urged the media to stand firm, asserting that forthcoming FBI documents would reveal details linking Tinubu to heroin trafficking.

He highlighted the stark contrast in treatment, referencing the case of Stella Okotete, a ministerial nominee from Delta State, who faced scrutiny over alleged certificate forgery, resulting in her denial of confirmation. Shaibu questioned why the president’s standards appeared lower than those for a ministerial nominee, emphasizing the hypocrisy of those defending certificate forgery at the highest level of government. He urged Nigerians not to overlook these discrepancies and demanded that the media uphold its role as society’s watchdog, as stipulated in the constitution.
