Jorginho, a Chelsea midfielder, has talked up his prospects of winning the Ballon d’Or this season.
This comes after his pivotal role in the club’s and country’s achievements.
Last season, Jorginho assisted the Blues in winning the Champions League, which they did by defeating Manchester City 1-0 in the final.
He was also instrumental in Italy’s victory at the European Championships last weekend.
“We all have dreams. But, I will be honest. It depends on the criteria that the decision is based on.
“If we are talking about talent, then I know I am not the best in the world. But if it’s going by titles, then nobody has won more than I have this season.
“How could I compare myself to [Lionel] Messi, Neymar or Cristiano Ronaldo? But, I repeat, it depends on the criteria,” Jorginho told SporTV.
Messi is the current recipient of the accolade, which he has won six times.
