APC Leader beaten, stripped naked at mega rally + Video, photos

At the party’s massive rally in Nasarawa State on Thursday, Abubakar Abu Giza, a leader of the All Progressives Congress, was assaulted and stripped naked.

Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman of the APC, was allegedly beaten, according to the senders of the video.

However, The Eagle Online has stated that this is untrue.

In the footage, some young people can be seen berating Giza and tearing his clothing.

After the protest in the state capital, the alleged crime was allegedly perpetrated in the Emir of Lafia’s palace.

It was Giza in the video, according to the chairman of the Nasarawa State Inter-Party Advisory Council, Hon. Cletus Ogah Doma, who confirmed the incident on Friday.

Doma, the Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party in Nasarawa State, cautioned youths in the state against thuggery, describing the attack on Giza as barbaric and inhuman.

He said: “Youths as the vanguard of nation building and instrument of integration should remain neutral and should not allowed themselves to be used as agents in the hands of the politicians.

“The yearnings and aspirations of Nigerians to have a credible, peaceful conduct of elections in 2023 must not be allowed in the hands of the politicians causing troubles in the country.

“It is the collective responsibility of all actors and members of of all the political parties to ensure that campaigns are conducted with decorum and in accordance with the rules of the game.”
