Amaechi Renounces Claim On Buhari’s Government Money Printing

Rotimi Amaechi minister of Transportation, has disagreed with the claim of being caught in an audio discussion saying that President Muhammadu Buhari’s government has been printing money to run his administration.

Amaechi reacted to the allegation through his media aide Taiye Elebiyo-Edeni on Tuesday May 4, telling members of the public to ignore the clip as fake.

He said; “I have never headed any financial institution in the country and therefore did not qualify as an authority in the issues that concerns printing of money into the economy.

“I advise Nigerians who want information on printing of money to find out from the appropriate agency and not circulate false statement to gain cheap publicity.”
