Unrest In Plateau As Gunmen Strike Again, Kill Many, Burn Houses
Unidentified gunmen attacked the Te’egbe community in Plateau State’s Bassa Local Government Area, killing an unknown number of residents.
The event occurred on Friday morning, according to NEWS DIRECT, when gunmen assaulted the neighborhood with sophisticated weaponry.
About ten corpses have been retrieved, according to an eyewitness who spoke to our community journalist, while scores more are still missing.
As at the time of writing this article, the incident’s details are still hazy.
ASP Ubah Gabriel, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the attack when reached by DAILY POST.
According to him, the Commissioner of Police is currently on the site assessing the extent of the damage caused by the attack.
He said, “We are aware of the incident, the Commissioner of Police is currently there, details will be communicated to you shortly. I will release a press statement”.
