Twitter Ban: “Malami Corrupt, Criminally Deactivated His Account” – Sowore

Omoyele Sowore, a former African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, has chastised the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, for deactivating his Twitter accounts following the Federal Government’s prohibition.

For criminally disabling his Twitter account, Sowore labeled Malami as a crooked and incompetent counsel.

After the Federal Government banned Twitter, Malami is thought to have utilized Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) to access it.

Recall that after the Federal Government imposed a Twitter ban on Saturday, Nigerians turned to Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) to gain access to the website.

In order to gain access to the platform, you’ll need to use a VPN.

Malami, on the other hand, came out on Saturday and urged that violators of the Federal Government’s ban on Twitter activities in Nigeria be prosecuted immediately.

Meanwhile, it was revealed that the Minister of Justice used a VPN to access the microblogging website.

When you connect to a VPN, a key or lock icon appears in the notification bar, showing that the VPN is active and Safe Browsing is turned on.

Malami’s screenshot shows a key icon in the notification bar on the left side, indicating that Malami’s phone was connected to a VPN to access Twitter.

Sowore retaliated by accusing the Minister of Justice of establishing a full-fledged Gye dictatorship.

Sowore commented on his verified Facebook page:

“A message I left for Nigeria’s Attorney General and Minister of (In)Justice Abubakar Malami, SAN on his Facebook comment section after he criminally deactivated his Twitter account;

“A lawless, heartless, corrupt, unjust and incompetent lawyer saddled with the ministry of justice who doesn’t have an idea what it means to work for justice.

“An Attorney General that initiated a memo to birth full fledged dictatorship. Be reminded of what befell your predecessors. You won’t escape the harsh verdict of history! #RevolutionNow #BuhariMustGo”.
