Tragedy as President Buhari’s Nominee Dies Suddenly

President Buhari’s recent nominee James Kolo is dead.

Kolo, who was recently nominated by President Muhammadu Buhari as a commissioner of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) from Kwara state suffered sudden death.

The Kwara state government disclosed in a statement that Kolo died suddenly on Tuesday morning, May 19, after falling ill. Before his death, the deceased had appeared before the Senate for screening after he was nominated by the president on April 28 as one of the commissioners of the Federal Character Commission.

The Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has commiserated with the Patigi community and the APC family over the sudden death of James Kolo. He described the late commissioner-designate as a loyal member of the APC and a good man.

Meanwhile, it earlier reported that the Governors under the aegis of Northern Governors’ Forum (NGF) have lauded the appointment of Ambassador Ibrahim Agboola Gambari as the chief of staff by President Muhammadu Buhari.
