Top PDP Politician Dies At 62

Taofeek Olayiwola, a former secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, is dead.

Olayiwola died on Wednesday December 21, at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, according to a report by The Punch.

Olayiwola who died at age 62 was the state party secretary during the tenure of late former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala.

The spokesman of the PDP in Oyo state, Akeem Olatunji, has reportedly confirmed Olayiwola’s death. He described the deceased as an easygoing person and a great politician who believed in the “live and let’s live” principle.
