The Karimo market in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, has been engulfed in flames since early this morning.
Many shops were alleged to have been damaged by the fire, with products worth millions of Naira being lost as a result of the blaze.
Although the cause of the fire is unknown, our correspondent learned that firefighters had arrived on the scene to put it out.
The market also caught fire in July of last year, destroying around 200 stalls.
