Tinubu’s Minister Reveals What Akeredolu Struggled To Do Before His Death

President Bola Tinubu’s Minister has revealed what late Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu struggled to do before his death.

In a condolence message, the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Mr. Dele Alake, paid tribute to the late former Governor of Ondo acknowledging him as someone who struggled to ensure true federalism. The minister expressed his deep shock and sorrow over the loss, describing Akeredolu as a bold and irrepressible defender of the interests of Ondo people and the Yoruba nation who struggled while alive to ensure that those goals were achieved.

Mr. Alake highlighted Akeredolu’s significant contributions during his tenure as State Governor, emphasizing his commitment to the welfare of the people. In his words, “As State Governor, he made the welfare of the people the focal point of governance.”

The minister concluded by acknowledging the profound impact Akeredolu left on the political landscape, stating, “Nigeria has lost a titan, but we are consoled by the fact that he left an indelible mark in the political firmament.”
